Stretched among Peaks: A Unique Interior Design

Bringing the Scenery Indoors

The inspiration for this design came from the desire to create a comfortable and inviting living space. The designers were fortunate to have a supportive owner who allowed them to freely express their creativity. The owner expressed that the completed design fulfilled their dream and hoped to share it with the world. The designers are grateful for the owner's support and hope that their work will be recognized by design reviewers in Italy, showcasing the fulfillment of the human body's dream.

What sets Stretched among Peaks apart from other interior designs is its unique ability to incorporate the outdoor scenery into the home. The large French windows not only provide ample natural light but also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountain forest. The designers have carefully selected stone materials for the television wall and the bar's island area, using peacock stone to add a touch of beauty and elegance to the design.

The functionality of the design is also well thought out. The well-lit interiors and flowing lights address the owner's concern about having a bright space. The four sides of the room are bathed in light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the design allows for excellent ventilation, ensuring fresh air circulates throughout the space.

Stretched among Peaks was realized in Taiwan, Taipei in November 2014. The design team, consisting of Chia-Hung Yu, Hao-Chien Cheng, and Wei-Ting Chung, worked diligently to overcome various challenges, including mastering the proportions of the linear ceiling design and special curves. The result is a harmonious and visually stunning interior that provides comfort and functionality.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. The award acknowledges the outstanding expertise and innovation demonstrated in this design. Stretched among Peaks showcases a remarkable level of excellence, combining technical prowess with artistic skill to evoke positive emotions and a sense of wonder.
